Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy covers our website and early-access program. It will be expanded before the Revura product launches (including Google API data handling).
Who we are
Revura ("we", "us") is an early-stage software business based in Bengaluru, India. Contact: hello@revura.app.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you request an audit, demo or pilot: name, work email, business name, city, number of outlets, role, business type, an optional note, and an optional WhatsApp number.
- Usage data: if analytics are enabled, we collect pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location from your IP, device and browser type, and the campaign link you arrived from (UTM parameters).
- Public business information: to prepare your audit, we look up your business's public Google Maps listing (rating, review count and recent public reviews) through Google's official APIs.
- Live business check: when you use "Check your business", the name you type is sent to Google Maps Platform to find the place. We keep a log of the text you typed and the Google place ID, but not the ratings, reviews or summaries Google returns. To see the full report, you give us your name and phone number; we use them to call or WhatsApp you about your report, and store them with the business you checked. When you type into the business name field, the text is sent to Google Maps to suggest matching businesses. Google's use of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
How we use it
- To prepare and send the Reputation Audit, demo or onboarding you asked for.
- To contact you about Revura by email, and on WhatsApp only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP on WhatsApp.
- To understand which parts of our website are useful and to improve them.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run Revura, under their own data-protection terms: Google (Workspace/Sheets for lead storage, Maps Platform for audits), our website host, our email provider, Meta (WhatsApp, if you opt in), and PostHog (analytics, if enabled). Some providers process data outside India. We share data with authorities only when required by law.
Google Business Profile data
If you connect your Google Business Profile to Revura, we access only the locations you choose, using Google's official sign-in. We read your reviews and business details to create your summaries, alerts and draft replies, and we post a reply to Google only after you (or someone you authorise) approve it. You can disconnect at any time from your Google account or from Revura, and we then stop accessing your profile and delete the data on request.
During the Pilot Program, before the Google sign-in is available, you may instead add our account (ayush@revura.app) as a Manager on your Business Profile. We use that access only to read your reviews and post the replies you approve. You can remove it at any time in your Business Profile settings (People and access), and we remove ourselves when the pilot ends unless you continue.
Revura's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalised AI models.
How long we keep it
We keep lead information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete it. We don't store the content of Google reviews long-term; we keep only the business's public place identifier and our own summary.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@revura.app. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR/UK GDPR, or other laws, including the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use your browser's local storage to remember which page version you saw and the campaign link you came from. If analytics are enabled, PostHog stores an anonymous identifier. We don't use advertising cookies.
Security
We use reputable providers with encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change, and note the date at the top.
